Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using BrickTicker, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.

1. Nature of Service

1.1 Digital Asset Trading Platform

BrickTicker is a digital trading platform for LEGO® piece ownership interests. When you purchase "pieces" on BrickTicker:

• You are purchasing fractional ownership in unallocated physical LEGO® pieces backed by our pooled inventory
• Physical pieces are NOT shipped to you upon purchase
• You gain fractional ownership represented in your digital portfolio
• You can buy, sell, and trade these ownership interests with other users

1.2 Physical Set Redemption

Physical LEGO® sets are ONLY available when:

• You own 100% of a complete set (all pieces)
• You request redemption through the platform
• You pay applicable redemption fees (see Section 4)

Important: Purchasing pieces does NOT entitle you to receive physical items unless all conditions above are met.

1.3 Fungible Piece System

How Piece Ownership Works:

• All pieces of the same set number are fungible (interchangeable)
• Example: Set #10197 "Fire Brigade" may have multiple active listings (Listing A, Listing B, etc.)
• Pieces purchased from Listing A are interchangeable with pieces from Listing B if they are both Set #10197
• Your ownership represents a quantity of pieces from a pooled inventory for that set number
• You do NOT own specific, individually-allocated pieces
• Physical redemption draws from the pooled inventory when you reach 100% of any set number

2. No Guarantees

2.1 Pricing

• Prices are NOT guaranteed and may change at any time without notice
• Market prices fluctuate based on supply and demand
• Historical pricing data is for informational purposes only
• Past performance does NOT guarantee future results

2.2 Investment Risk

• BrickTicker is NOT an investment platform
• You may lose some or all of the money you spend
• Piece values may decrease below your purchase price
• There is no guarantee you will be able to sell pieces
• No assurance of liquidity or ability to exit positions

2.3 Set Availability

• Set redemption is NOT guaranteed
• Physical sets may become unavailable due to:
  • Manufacturer discontinuation
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Inventory limitations
• We reserve the right to substitute equivalent value if specific sets are unavailable

3. Returns and Refunds

3.1 Digital Purchases

• All sales are final once payment is processed
• NO refunds for piece purchases
• You may sell your pieces on the marketplace to other users
• Account balance is non-refundable

3.2 Set Redemptions

• Once a physical set is shipped, it cannot be returned
• You are responsible for inspecting sets upon delivery
• Damaged or defective sets must be reported within 7 days
• Refunds for damaged sets are at our sole discretion

4. Set Redemption Process and Fees

4.1 Redemption Eligibility

To redeem a physical LEGO® set, you must:

1. Own 100% of all pieces for that specific set
2. Have a verified account with complete shipping details
3. Submit a redemption request through your account
4. Pay all applicable fees (below)

4.2 Redemption Fees

Redemption may incur the following fees:

• Processing & Handling Fee: $5-$25 per set (based on set size)
• Shipping Fee: Calculated based on:
  • Set weight and dimensions
  • Destination address
  • Shipping method selected (standard, expedited, etc.)
• Sales Tax: Where applicable by law

All fees are disclosed BEFORE you confirm redemption.

4.3 Redemption Timeline

• Processing time: 5-14 business days after request
• Shipping time: 3-10 business days (standard), 1-3 days (expedited)
• Delays may occur due to inventory availability or carrier issues
• We will provide tracking information once shipped

4.4 No Partial Redemptions

• You CANNOT redeem partial sets (e.g., 50% of pieces)
• You must own 100% of a set to qualify for redemption
• Individual pieces cannot be shipped separately

5. Account Responsibilities

5.1 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• You are liable for all activity under your account

5.2 Age Requirement

• You must be 18 years or older to use BrickTicker
• We may verify your age at any time
• Accounts created by minors will be terminated

6. Intellectual Property

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group. BrickTicker is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group. All LEGO® product names and images are property of the LEGO Group.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
• We are NOT liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are NOT responsible for lost profits, data, or opportunities
• The platform is provided "AS IS" without warranties
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
